Basic competencies in obstetric-gynecological ultrasound have shifted from being a merit to becoming a requirement for the current practice of the specialty. The general specialist needs to incorporate specific knowledge and skills. In this course, the acquisition of knowledge is achieved through a methodology based on the extensive use of images, enabling the student to detect abnormalities and manage pathology with clear algorithms for diagnosing and handling the most common obstetric and gynecological conditions. On the other hand, skill acquisition is ensured through simulation sessions and live workshops. This course allows students to acquire both components, knowledge and skills, in the most integrated and efficient way possible, ensuring direct transferability to clinical practice.
This course will help the specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics to work in collaboration with other experts, with the goal of making early and accurate diagnoses, as well as improving women’s reproductive health.
